In terms of real estate, La Jolla Alta is a diverse neighborhood with a mix of detached tract homes, some custom homes, and several condo communities including Crystal Bay, Ventana, and Eldorado I & II. Emerald Cove, a gated enclave also located in La Jolla Alta, was one of the last major new home communities in La Jolla.
