The Crosby
Surrounded by an 18-hole golf course, a private club, and panoramic views, The Crosby is new community on the east side of Rancho Santa Fe. The community was named after Bing Crosby who fell in love with the area back in the 1940’s. It was voted one of the top private golf communities by Golf Digest and was also selected as one of America’s 100 top golf communities for 2006 and 2007 by Travel and Leisure Golf Magazine.
Many of the homes were inspired by the legendary Lillian Rice, whose eye for Spanish Revival design has been a huge influence in the area. Homes within the area include The Villas, a unique neighborhood that consists of 70 classic homes. There are also 281 semi-custom homes and 70 custom home sites. All of this in a relaxed, but very elegant setting that is typical of the majority of homes in this area. However, one of the unique features of The Crosby is the eye-catching stone bridge that stands over the San Dieguito River.
Residents and guests enjoy top notch facilities at The Crosby Golf Club such as a junior Olympic swimming pool & spa, a tennis garden with a sunken stadium court and a tennis shop, driving range, and fitness center.
The schools for Crosby residents include Solana Santa Fe Elementary, Earl Warren Middle School, Torrey Pines High School, San Dieguito Academy, or Canyon Crest Academy.
As with any community within Rancho Santa Fe, The Crosby is no exception when it comes to enjoyable San Diego weather. This is California living at its finest.
