Del Rayo

The Del Rayo community of Rancho Santa Fe consists of two sub-communities including the Del Rayo Downs and the Del Rayo Estates which were developed by Gene Klein in the late 80‘s.   Del Rayo Downs are patio homes that overlook San Dieguito Road, the horse pastures and beautiful golf courses.  Homes in this area range from 2,500 to 4,100 square feet and are some of the more affordable homes in Rancho Santa Fe.  One the other side of the coin, there are the Del Rayo Estates which are very large luxury homes ranging from 8,000 to 17,000 square feet, sit on 1 to 2 acres of land, and have some of the most stunning views in all of San Diego.

Residents of Del Rayo Downs don’t have to go very far to shop or eat out.  They have the convenience of the Del RayoVillage Shopping Center which has a few clothing boutiques, gift shops, restaurants including Leucadia Pizza, and the United States Postal Office.   Del Rayo is also just 5-10 minutes from downtown Rancho Santa Fe.
